Giant pig Ganon or GTFO
It's a little hard to take your jabs at Microsoft seriously when they're sitting directly above a paid Sony promo ;)
Wow this thing sounds awful.
I live in Portland, Oregon. It's awful here with the gluten trend (and unless you have a gluten allergy or a gluten-related disease like a friend of mine, it IS a bullshit diet trend). I'll bet you a slice of white bread that happened here in P-town. "Animal carcasses?!" I seriously can't keep quiet around idiots…
I agree, without true access to the firsthand experience of daily objectification, I think empathy and a desire to understand can be a worthy substitute.
I'm genetically pretty slim, but years ago when I had an embrinal tumor (didn't know at the time), it pumped my body full of weight-gain hormones, and I actually got pretty chubby for a year until the docs found it and began chemo (the ultimate diet).
Thanks for taking the time to respond with all of this, I was indeed unaware of many of these points! I do appreciate the efforts of the Gawker media staff as a whole as it's become my primary source for pop culture news and online discussion.
That's a fair point. I still would rather have the opportunity to respond as part of the discussion as a whole (even if my response were to be "not cool man"). I've seen other comments here that are just as inappropriate as those described to be moderated that have been left up for response— however none with 54…
Why not indeed! We can hope.
Hey everyone this person hates gamers, just in case you missed their other topic-irrelevant posts. Can we get some stars on this?
You wouldn't know them. Obviously.
Thanks. I would have appreciated the option to respond to both as I saw fit. I suspect that the many stars were the real reason for removal. Can't have Kotaku appearing to have an insensitive commenter base.
It's a shame when someone feels the need to prune the parts of a discussion that don't work for him, regardless of how insensitive the censored post may have been (guess I'll never know).
This is pretty awful. I can't imagine who would want to hurt furries. LGBT hate often stems from a perceived threat to the sexuality of ignorant people, and it's intolerable, but I can at least point to the motivation—but this? Who the fuck are furries a threat to? Wanna bully furries for being weird, fine, flex…
I'm not seeing anything with 54 stars; did something get censored?
my #1 is Star Trek 25th anniversary and Jusgement Rites, complete with the voices (already recorded). Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis would also be welcome, as would a hi-res Day of the Tentacle.
Yes, swirls, but also stripes. Both rudiments of his design language, they appear everywhere.
I eat McDonald's on occasion, maybe once every few months (in Portland, there's too many good alternatives like Burgerville and Little Big Burger), and when I do, I don't really consider it food. To me, it's more of an unhealthy snack, like a donut with soy and crappy meat instead of creme filling.
