BC is something that matters for the first year. It's to make up for the fact that you won't be playing many new games... so it was played ok, but some miss it because they don't like having to have another device on the shelf to enjoy their games catalog.

FYI I did this on a 360 Arcade price drop. I expected the drop (thx Kotaku) and bought it 2 days before so I made sure I got one. Next week I went back and collected the difference. I win.

Yes Super Mario Kart (SNES) and Mario Kart Wii are identical in that you push buttons on a controller and reactions happen on the screen. Their concern is the new gen hardware. The DS, though a still a source of income, is dying. I doubt they will change it's price (much) and just let the consumer decide which to purchase. Seems like a slam dunk decision to me.
