They can take all the poison foods from my cold dead hands. I love how they are all "well this is how paleolithic people ate!!!!" LOL okay I think they just ate whatever they could get their hands on. Most of it wasn't organic kale.

Pro-vacc here, but I think the fear stems from the fact that almost everyone knows someone with a child who has Autism/ASD/Aspergers, but very few people know someone whose child has died, from a childhood disease or otherwise. I think that people literally think that children don't die anymore because our medical

I am honestly so fucking sick of everyone acting like Autism is the ultimate evil. It is a (usually) fairly mild neurodevelopmental disorder. I realize that it isnt always easy, but that doesnt mean that people within the autism spectrem arent still people and are plenty able to go living happy, functional lives. It

Oh, no question Kinnick's better. But I'm a WVU fan, and the Iowa State people have been nothing but great to the Mountaineer rooters (hell, the whole Big 12 has been great).

This team is better than last year's team that lost to UCONN in the Sweet Sixteen—and that Cyclone team was a Final Four team before Niang broke his foot in the first game of the tournament. Consider the fact that this team almost never gets rattled and Hoiberg is so calm, cool, and collected—he makes Gandhi look like

Recall they were without Niang in the tournament last year when they lost to UConn. With him, they could have easily won it all. I think they have the sauce this year.

That comment was mostly in jest, even though I really do think Kinnick as a stadium experience is light-years above JTS.

well i guess you cant argue with the numbers, unless your chuck barkley... fred has won his first round game every year, including a win over notre dame two years ago. the losses he has in the tourney are to: UK (anthony davis), Ohio State (it should have been blocking and 1!!, and f you aaron craft), and uconn

Awful football stadium? I've seen it on TV and read articles about Jack Trice Stadium, as well as his namesake (seriously, read some articles about Jack Trice).

They made it by default. The alternatives were worlds worse. Colorado State and Temple weren't going. And the Aggies? Please.

This is true, although the last 3 games have had some of their best defense all year. The reason they fell behind early in these games was because their shots weren't landing.... so more of a offensive issue than a defensive one. Also, don't forget who their last opponents have been... Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma

I have but one quibble. Iowa State isn't a "small school." It's got nearly 35,000 students and is the largest university in the state of Iowa.

I'm a UW Madison alum, and I happen to enjoy watching extremely talented dudes play basketball very well, so I'll be cheering on the Badgers, thanks.

I'm pretty sure that if I hate college basketball I should be rooting for Duke, because nothing makes college basketball fans more upset than watching Duke win.

i think you are forgetting that iowa state does have the big 12 defensive player of the year who was only eligible second semester. with mckay in the line up, defensive in the paint has gotten much better. teams still hit the three at a very high rate against us. i went to iowa state, love the cyclones, and i have

"He has a very particular set of skills. If you troll his daughter he will look you up. He will dox you. And he WILL ruin your reputation on Google. This march, Curt Schilling is TAKEN ABACK"

I see a lot of commentary on this - all of it good - that "Dads who have daughters should read this!" or whatever.
