I agree. The more I think about it and as I mentally replay his behavior, the more I believe he’s straight-up an alcoholic. I suspect Senator Klobuchar thinks so, too, given her questioning in the context of her family history.

It might have exceeded their mandate, but I wish one of the Senators had been able to bring up this 2001 email during the hearing. It goes to a pattern of behavior that existed during, and extends well beyond, high school.
