I got myself a Yeti Blue Mic after years of suffering with crappy $5 ebay mics and built-in laptop mics. Best thing I ever did for my Lync / GotoMeeting / Skype conferences ever !! Boostable to nuclear volume. Pick you up from the other side of the room. Love it. Didn't get mine for $75 though :'(

I've seen something similar with both my boys (7 and 11). During the summer, we used to let them binge on games and TV as long as they were caught up on their chores. However, it quickly became apparent that it turned them into angry, bitter "drunks". We scaled back to 2 hours a day and it made a huge improvement in

The issue with eggs and refrigeration is entirely a matter of where you're from. :) Eggs in the United States are powerwashed, which removes all organic material from their shell—harmful bacteria, any chicken leavings, and, sadly, the egg's protective outer coating. That outer coating slows spoilage, and with it gone,

Ah, we've covered more than a few recently, some people will point to Pepperplate, which does some of the same things Plan to Eat does, but not as hands-free and not as automatically, but it's one option.

Hi everyone,

Agree that the developer seems responsive. I keep noticing new features and things that I found annoying suddenly get fixed. It continues to improve. One feature no one has talked about is the "queue" concept, which I like. If I find a recipe I want to do, I can queue it—put it in a short list—and then when I go

I also like Plan to Eat. The web snipper works well, I like the menu planner, and the grocery list feature is awesome. Yes, it's not free, but if I wanted free I would use .txt

I use Plan to Eat (www.plantoeat.com). It isn't perfect, but it does a decent job of scraping recipes from the websites I frequent. It is also a menu planner—drag recipes to calendar—and shopping list creator. In order to maximize the benefits of the shopping list creation, you really need to conform all recipe

If your post is any indication, you don't need it.

That's the damned truth.

I hate to say this, but after all those years looking for the best surge protector, I came to one conclusion:

OH! Yeah - I think a little EVOO will do nicely too, but just a dash, maybe to coat the pan, since you'll be simmering in the broth. :)

That's a damned good point, one I totally overlooked this morning while I was putting this together. Not every like is a "like," and not every +1 is an endorsement, and you're absolutely right there. Frankly, I follow a lot of people, pages, and products not because I particularly support them, but because I have to

I mentioned this last week in a comment to another user and you omitted the same thing. As well as the actions above which you list this also occurs if you follow a company. You can follow a company for other reasons than just liking them. The example I quoted last week was you may need to follow the manufacturer of

LOL. Thought this was going to be about getting in your kegels!

Errr, at the risk of sounding contrarian, you don't HAVE to remove the stems. I cut my greens perpendicular to the stems, in ribbons, and by the time they're cooked they're usually not much of a bother...

agreed... turning on and off GPS should be a feature of all navigation apps so you don't have to rely on manual or third party intervention

If it could turn the GPS on/off depending on whether Maps/Navigation was running, it'd be perfect.
