And thanks to Amazon Prime it was waiting for me at the mailbox today! Can't wait to see how this gift works out for a hard to shop for fella.

Thanks to feedback from a couple of very nice Lifehackers on the last razor post, I ordered the Edwin Jagger (black handle because I'm cheap) for the hubs birthday.

In the Play store, I see a message "This app is incompatible with your device." I have an HTC Amaze 4G and this is the first app ever that's not compatible. Bummer.

Seems I already have Google Search, but when I open the app I don't see these magical cards you speak of. All I see is the search bar and a list of items I presumably accessed recently. Any ideas where to find the awesomeness?

Thanks, I'm going to go for the EJ!

Ya, I figured out my phone already has Google Search (Now), but I don't see a link like you describe under the search bar. Hmmm

So Google Now is called Google Search in the app store, right?

Is there a good market on Tradesy for vintage clothing? I went through a vintage phase and would love to purge those items.

Thanks a bunch for the breakdown. Not especially big hands or sensitive skin. He has been complaining of how quickly it grows in with the summer heat and he appreciates good design. Maybe the EJ longer handle would be a good transition from a cartridge type?

Curious, do you need to use a brush and soap with one of these razors? or can you get by with shaving cream? And please do tell which brush you like to use!

I get the dreaded 404

Love this, Alan! My hubs is out of town and I've been hard pressed to get my workouts in with the kiddos surrounding me. Downloaded and did my first 7 minute workout this morning. Yep, worked up a sweat!

Alan, you're link to the Edwin black handle one isn't working.

Edwin and Merkur users, my husband's birthday is coming up and I have no clue what to get him. He's a practical man and usually doesn't want much of anything for his birthday. I think we'd both appreciate having something that's not 'disposable.'

My wise aunt told me once, "Worry is wasted energy." I try to remind myself of that phrase when I find my mind in a worrying spot.

I got a new vacuum recently and I actually do enjoy vacuuming now. My husband says I'm obsessed with it. Toilet cleaning, not so much.

I hear you! It's been on my "to do list" for some time to check out Astrid because of all the love for it on LH. Now I'm glad I never got around to it, so I'll never know quite what I was missing. Sort of shocking Yahoo would buy a service that people love only to kill it. Good luck finding a great replacement.

I'm not sure if it would meet your needs as I never tried Astrid, but I use doit.im and really like it. I learned about it in the comments of a Lifehacker post. Overdue stuff doesn't pop up in your face, but there's a "Today" list and overdue stuff shows at the top in red.

Thanks, I have VLC at home, so I'll give that a try

Hey OneManicNinja, iresq.com wrote me back and they don't repair the HTC model I have—only a few Android models at this time. It was worth a shot! Thanks again for the suggestion.
