You're pretty sick Chubbs

Chicago's murder rate is directly linked to gangs and the drugs they deal. I'm not saying Hurd is a murderer, but keeping the drugs out of the city is one way of turning that number around. He might be a nice guy, but his actions would have continued to pour drugs into the streets.

Hey now... that's just how we say "hello"

Someone in Wicker Park (or whatever your local hipster spot may be) is laughing at this saying "stupid Americans" while wearing a Tottenham jersey.

Morten Anderson and Fred McGriff close the generation gap very quickly.

You are right. Nobody cares about soccer here. Networks are absolutely NOT interested in showing it.

Carlos Zambrano is actually last in this category. Too topical?

We think Panama should also go to the World Cup with Jamaica, Canada and all the other teams so brutally eliminated from this tournament. While they are there, there should be no "high level" or "Premier League" players. Everyone should just get along. We don't even need to keep score and everyone get paid whatever

Not sure if I'm doing this right, but just for fun I put in two 10-0 victories for the US and it still would not be enough points to get into the top ten, let alone eight.

It would be interesting to plot the last 5 or 10 super bowl champions on this list to see if they are closer to the Colts and Saints or if they can fall below the defense axis

I never said I agreed with the way Gomez acted. In fact, I say that Gomez should have just run the bases. Gomez should have been ejected for acting like a little child. I have no problem with Maholm or even Freeman saying something. What I have a problem with is that McCann decided that he was the authority and he

Maholm admits to saying something along the lines of "Congrats you hit a homer. Run." That might be an exact quote.

FWIW, Gomez did not say anything until Maholm and Freeman started yelling at him. He did stare him down, though.

That's a totally fair point. If there weren't unwritten rules (i.e. if taunting was a warning or something), this could have easily been avoided.

Full disclosure: Brewers fan here, but you'll probably pick that up.

Chicharito is still not going to Brazil.

Am I the only one that thinks they shouldn't?

How bout some chipotle mayo? I'd put it in place of mayo and put regular mayo and tabasco somewhere behind ranch and in front of having to read another Darren Rovell tweet about food.

On the part about the play-in game's effect on the postseason.
