If this was any other company, I’d be inclined to agree, but considering that SwSh’s early trailers had some animation issues that were never fixed, I think people are right to be skeptical about Game Freak.

I feel like this game got a lot of positive buzz that it didn’t deserve.
I feel like this game got a lot of positive buzz that it didn’t deserve. Like it makes a great first impression, but by a couple hours in you have kind of seen everything. The loot system is the worst possible combination of over-randomized garbage sifting and fixed upgrade boredom. Character customization is all…
It’s a cute little game, but if you have any familiarity with hack’n’slash ARPGs you’ll waltz through it. I 100%ed it in 20 hours, which isn’t bad, but isn’t peanuts compared to Diablo or Sacred. Like all Unreal Engine games, it’s also horribly optimized for DX12; I can ray-trace the shit out of Cyberpunk, Doom, and…
I haven’t fired it up with the new patch, but playing on DX11 on gamepass yesterday, it was stuttery as hell, and I can’t imagine it being worse. I was getting 130fps as the base, with regular drops to 100fps in combat, and then semi-regular drops to like 50 fps when things would explode, and the ENTIRE time it felt…
The annoying thing is, there is already a solution in place for mobile users that you can do on desktop. If you just make your browser window smaller, instead of having to click through the fucking things it just lays them all out in a vertical row to scroll down though like it fucking should have been in the first…
Fuck it. I’m just going to copy and paste this in all these articles that are promoting Ubisoft games unless they start mentioning it themselves.
I dont understand why Lost in Translation in even on the list. I mean yeah most of us are probably not traveling to Tokyo but the idea that we can find connection in the smallest interactions or moments is a nice reminder - not a bummer like list seems to suggest. I dont think this belongs on here AT ALL.
I’ll get right on this then. SotC and Demon Souls do indeed look better than the originals.
Weird rag on Bluepiont, who in a world of shitty remasters actually produce competent work.
I doubt the patent is that specific. Apple’s patent for “scrolling on a touchscreen” literally obscures the only useful portion, which is the math used to register the direction and strength of a scroll. That pretty much flies in the face of the entire concept of a patent: Anybody reading the patent should be able to…
Me and a friend just finished this game last night. And, oh boy, are there bugs!
A couple of friends and I payed some co-op over the weekend and, yeah it’s buggy. At one point just trying to start a game with all of our characters one of my friends lost their save. Not sure how, but his character was completely reset. Once, and perhaps related, I tried to select my save and it asked if I wanted…
One of my friends has a 3080 and had the same issues with DX 12. I have a 1080 and aside from the stuttering in MP, I had no problem getting 60 fps at 1440p with medium settings.
It’s pretty odd. I get that they tried to go the newer Assassins Creed RPG games route, there’s certain areas that are higher levels and are to be avoided, but in that game those areas are massive and completely separate from each other, in this if you take a single wrong turn you can get one shotted by a high level…
I just wish DLSS and Raytracing worked in the Gamepass version. DLSS doesn’t even show up in the graphics menu, and toggling raytracing does precisely zilch. Can’t beat the price though.
We got the multiple boss spawns as well! After getting absolutely dumpstered by the boss and his 3 clones in like 10 seconds, we’re sitting there at the loading screen going “okay, what the hell is the strategy here” only to reload the game and come back to a much more winnable battle. On its own, without much more…
I mean, I gave it a go, and did want to like it. But yikes, it feels like a fan-made film with a weirdly, distractingly good cast, going through the motions of what a film this genre should do, and looking cheap as it does it.
I absolutely loved the casting but thought the action was pretty terrible, both in terms of choreography and how the fights were shot. Looked severely under-rehearsed. Also absolutely criminal squandering of Michelle Yeoh.
All the commenters quickly stating they must watch because of such and such actress being in this are going to be sorely disappointed. I barely made it thru a watch and almost turned it off too many times to count. It tries SO hard to be cool and is just ridiculous drivel. Huge waste of brilliant actresses and a waste…
