I’m speaking on a purely noise related level, not on ambient temperature. The system is going to produce heat, regardless of cooling solution, but how you manage to remove that heat will determine how much noise your computer is going to make while it is in operation.

In the Graphics Menu there is an option to choose DirectX 11 or 12. If you are using Steam, then you can also use a Launcher command of -DX11 to force it into DirectX 11 mode.

More efficient cooling solutions on GPUs definitely help keep the ambient noise down. Most of the time I am not aware of GPU utilization because I don’t start to hear the fans until 60 percent utilization. Full on gaming is still pretty loud, but by then, I have my headphones on or cranked up the home theater system

Hopefully you are all Xbox/GamePass/MS Store or Steam, because you can’t mix the two platforms.

I went with an All-In-One Liquid Cooling solution for my PC for this reason. Noise floor is pretty non-existent when I am lightly using the GPU. Even with standard cooling for my GPU it remains pretty quiet when playing less taxing games. But temperatures and ambient noise definitely become an issue once my GPU

I would be curious to see if DirectX 11 fixes your issue or not. So if you remember, reply to this post.

This is the game’s not so subtle hint that it is time for a Series S|X upgrade.

I was running it on a i7 10700K and GTX-1080 with everything maxed at 1440p and was averaging just above 60fps. If you are getting less than that, try using Direct X 11 instead of Direct X 12. I hear 12 can increase stuttering. But if you have an old CPU, then you may need to use Direct X 12 to remove some of the CPU

I found the triples spiders hilarious because there are literally three of them (you fight one, then the other two are dispatched in a cutscene). So it is almost as if the other spiders just showed up early to the fight, and instead of waiting their time, decided to join in on the ass-kicking.

The saving grace for this game is that it auto saves before each encounter. So even if you ran into very high level enemies, you respawn literally seconds before the fight, so can “nope” right out of there without losing any progress. The only downside is that enemies will respawn, so depending on what you were

I’ve hit the same bugs that you have. Chests and doors which should open based on my ICE level, bosses spawning in twos and sometimes threes, and finding that side-missions, even if they are available in your region, being completely the wrong level because you have to go through high level enemies.

I ran into a couple of issues with trying to player co-op with a buddy on Thursday. The first of which was having to download the entire game again because the game would not start a co-op campaign without a patch, and the Xbox Game Pass version did not see a patch. The MS Store did, but it ended up just being the

If you don’t like it, then shut up and take your money somewhere else.

Better than clicking through the slide-show or not being able to view the content (if you are interested). Plus, the metrics would still be the same as if it was a normal article, so they are not seeing increased ad revenue and clicks as they would for someone who actually bothered with the slide-show.

Open your tab as a new window and shrink its size. There will be a point where the page switches from slide-show to scrolling (just like mobile).

For some people it is just about muscle memory. I have a couple of friends who were primarily console gamers that recently (as in the past 5 years) moved onto PC first; console second. But their primary interface and muscle memory for Call of Duty is a controller, so they prefer the controller over a mouse and

If money is your primary concern, then yes, waiting even 6 months is a better proposition when it comes to playing games, particularly since the time between launch and when you eventually buy it patches will have made the experience better.

No one would buy a Pro subscription just for a chance at a PS5 or a RTX GPU. It would be different if this was some kind of queue system where they would go through their entire Pro subscriber list until all PS5 and RTX cards are sold then made available to the general public. But as it is, this is just setting aside

It is understandable that the game would have bad syncing since it was designed for a Western audience by Western developers. So English was their primary concern when it came to designing the look and sound of the game. Localization came after, and that unfortunately meant some pretty bad audio syncing for the

Buying on mass to have a collection of games is not the same thing as people buying games because they want to play them. They are buying the games simply because they are cheap, and for the price of a single game, they are purchasing 10 games.
