Let’s be honest, the first two seasons of Discovery were patchy at best. There was some good ideas at times, but it was let down by asinine plotting, inconsistent characterisation and overwhelming feeling that they were making it up as they were going along.

That could be anything from formulas for a physics test, quotes for an English exam, or really anything you think could help guarantee an A—or a B if you don’t want to draw attention.

Let’s all just remember that Anovos loves to sell things they never actually produce, so buyer beware.

Actually, thank you. You just identified something wrong with media lately. That’s a solid list of everything I’ve been disappointed with in the last few decades. I’ve literally NEVER seen anything good from J.J. Abrams. He is poison, and with this blasted worship other people might have made these properties without

This is a good list but it has reminded me just how salty I still am about Almost Human being canceled.

Unless they have some way of bringing Lorenzo Music back from the dead, they can fuck off.

Further evidence that the Paris Climate Accord is wishful thinking — too little, too late. This isn’t going be solved with half-measures and gradual deescalation. We could stop all human emissions *tomorrow* and everything we’ve set in motion will still be rolling on a century from now.

I have to second Matt Berry’s casting as the younger brother and basically playing his character from The IT Crowd was magical. The moment I heard his voice I knew the character was going to be great and I was right. There is something about the cadence of his voice that lends itself so well to upper class buffoonery.

Who the F is Splarek? Yet another brother that no one spoke about until he showed up in Final Frontier?

One of the worst things about Discovery is how it has shoe horned Michael Burnham into Spock’s backstory. It adds nothing to the story beyond adding characters with name recognition. Michael Burnham’s character would have been exactly the same if she was adopted by a Vulcan character we didn’t already know. If she

Metal Gear Solid IS a movie.

I’ve been of the opinion that the producers are going for something a bit more bold then a deus ex machina melding of the various Trek verses. The only reason such a thing would be necessary is through a misplaced desire to appease their conception of die hard Trek fans.

Right wingers can say whatever sexist and racist thing they want and nothing happens (see current president). A “lefty” cannot have done anything wrong in their life, or they will have their careers ruined.

Looks like a new and improved version of Project UFO from back in the 70s.

Man, I hate the Stan Winston version of the Alien suit.
