“I thought that some of the metaphysical imagery was really particularly effective. And interesting rhythmic devices, which seemed to counterpoint he surrealism of the underlying metaphor of the humanity of the director’s compassionate soul, which contrives through the medium of the film structure to sublimate this,

I really hate these quick-fire edited, oh-he’s-laughing, oh-she’s-laughing – they must be having fun-type of so-called “out takes”. Give me the classic kind that used to be shown during the end credits of old Burt Reynolds’ movies any day.

“The real reason”..? What are the others?
Silly, pointless article

Very interesting. I appreciate the detailed explanations.

Not long ago I had to explain to someone what “bog standard” meant.
I’m a Brit living in New York...and these are some of the big ones...

Well, if this click-bait was the biggest news to come out of what was supposed to be the biggest Trek Con *ever* – the official 50th STLV event – then I’m glad I didn’t go. (I was going to.) It seems SDCC sucked any potential announcements that could’ve been made, that combined with Creation Events complete embargo on

For heaven’s sake, both franchises aided each other. We wouldn’t have Star Wars if Lucas hadn’t been influenced by Star Trek. The former was a smash success and then helped Trek years later. I sincerely doubt if any Trek fan was aghast at this event, they all know this.

I liked it.

What a piece of junk.

That’s exactly how I always understood the Falcon to work as a freighter/freight pusher, with the cockpit where it is, in a similar manner to NYC tugs where the bridge rises over barges, so they can see where they’re going. But you don’t see a lot of literature supporting this theory for the Falcon. At least I haven’t.

I’m Khan. And so’s my wife.

“Movie Review: [INSERT TITLE] Isn’t Perfect, But It’s So Much Fun You Won’t Care”
It’s funny, ‘cause that’s exactly what I was saying about Independence Day Resurgence and yet not one person agreed.

Surely they weren’t afraid of a little...boom-boom.
