er, hello. I'm in London...and I'm a journalist. My primary passions are science fiction...and Italian food (my wife is Sicilian). And I get very passionate about Star Trek.

Oh, there are quite a few - most of which I think have been covered already here. But the two biggest for me are the Star Trek reboot - they should have at least hired a director that was a fan, look at how Iron Man 3 benefited from having a director-fan at the helm...and this. It had such a good cast too.
