Is there a way to tell what’reasonable’ is? As much as I don’t want to ask for 20k if 15 is their limit I also don’t want to settle for 10.

Old white guy here: Does this mean my people are off the hook for all the shit we have dumped on you guys? I mean, are we good now?
I was at the game where Dave Forbes attacked Henry Boucha from behind & tore out his eye. The Hennepin County Attorney contemplated charges but was shut down by the moneyed boys when the NHL threatened to never play another game in Minneapolis if he did.
Several years ago in MN two teens driving North across a 4 lane bridge threw something (rock, piece of steel, I forget) across the jersey bounce & killed the passenger in a Northbound car. They were tried as adults & IIRC got stiff sentences.
Best answer. Not the most fun but the most accurate. It is sad how convenient it is for some people to misunderstand this very obvious truth
Agreed. But the point was that this was not a donation of food, it was a heartless person clearing out their pantry thinking that the poor do not deserve better.
I tried Thanksgiving on acid, it didn’t help.
I was sorting incoming stuff at a local churches food shelf. One bag had 2 boxes of mac-n-cheese that had expired 5 years earlier and a can of refried beans that was puffed out to the point it was almost football shaped! I was afraid it was going to explode like a hand grenade. Seriously, if you are that big an…
Once they make half court the 5-point line that could happen
But to be fair, they do play defense in the WNBA so that doesn’t count
REMEMBER FOLKS - sports builds character!
I used to work with a guy that kept a news article in his wallet that had the final score for every state HS basketball championship back to the 20s. Many were single digit scores with some winners scoring as many as 20 points!
NP - was a huge fan of those guys since the 70s & they were part of Asparagus Valley Cultural Society.
If I saw a Pinto with a sign on it that said “FREE” I would ask the owner if the price was negociable.
It should be noted that Amy’s dad is Teller of Penn and Teller and one of the running jokes in this episode is his being impressed with Howard’s magic and Howard teaching him a trick.
The average American conservative would gladly live under a bridge toasting sparrows on a curtain rod over an open fire as long as ‘them coloreds’ didn’t have a curtain rod . . . Or fire . . . Or a bridge.
BTW if you are unfamiliar with the"full quiver" movement do yourself a favor and do not look it up. Depressing beyond words
I used to work with one of those “full quiver” assholes. His chattle delivered 6 kids on the hidabed in their living room. The 6th one died and his wife damn near did too but that was not going to stop them. I changed jobs but am sure they continued until she died or cleared menopause.
Didn’t start watching until a really bad snow storm has us streaming the first 2 seasons. There are some really funny moments in those early episodes as long as you can ignore Lorre’s relentless sexism and stereotyping (lazy comedy). Somewhere along the way it really started to suck & we quit watching. Caught the…
They dealt with this exact question a couple of times in past episodes. Sheldon has bailed them out a couple of times. IRL I don’t think that would be enough to explain it but for a sitcom that is all that is needed.
