You deserve credit for managing to think this all through under such tough circumstances. I’ve read about your adventure with interest and, however it turns out, you’ve been really inspiring during the pandemic. Also? I’m in Oregon so hmu if you do end up heading this way.

I feel like it is an under discussed privilege. Some people thrive in workplaces and some people hate working. Personally, I have always been a clock watcher and only worked for money not identity. I was never gonna light the world on fire.

It’s the multiple kids for me. Anyone can fuck around and end up with a kid, but homeboy CHOSE kids 2, 3 and 4 with an obvious asshole.

A recommendation? Change jobs every few years so no one is stuck doing a thing they hate. No reason not to share responsibilities as life changes happen.

The fact that he let 3 women declare their love for him & bang it out before sending one home for no real reason makes me think he’s not so different from his father. That hurt to watch. 

My personal rule is, if you could have driven yourself to the hospital to visit them when they were born, you are too old to date them. It’s served me well.

Somehow this makes me angrier than most ignorance. Not that it matters, but Black history IS AMERICAN HISTORY. We have been here since the 1600s (check the 1619 Project) and stayed through it all. Fuck those fucking fuckers for denying the existence/contributions of Black people.

Her courage in naming her abuser has me blown away. As gut wrenching as it is to see women come out of the shadows every time a powerful man is named, it reinforces how strong someone has to be to survive.
