I love when cut-rate journalists off detailed critiques on engineering and business decisions of major automotive leaders.
I’d like to point out this is not some honor bestowed upon the Suburban. You get a Walk of Fame star by applying to the Chamber of Commerce and buying one. This is just a $30k ad buy from Chevrolet.
Where did you get your business and marketing degrees? Cuz you really should get a refund. Like damn.
I am amazed that this thing has directional slicer wheels.
Yes, tugs of war. Similar to mothers-in-law, or attorneys general.
Just wait! Cadillac will introduce the all-new CTS V-Sport, with 655hp and AWD :D
ayyyooo lemme get some of that musk koolaid you got bby
I really don’t get it. The base model does not even qualify as a “Light Truck” under US Federal Vehicle Classification since it a) does not have an open bed, and then b) does not have AWD (how all those CUVs get qualified as “Light Trucks”).
No one is suggesting Scat Packs? Really? That Merc can’t do a burnout without every computer in it going absolutely haywire.
Would you rather Ford give $0 for opioid abuse help, and then you would not have mentioned them at all today? Christ....
First off, I’ve owned 5 GM Voltec vehicles. FIVE!!!
[harumphing intensifies]
I don’t think Thunderbolt would be bad either. There’s only like a dozen people still alive that would remember the heyday of that nameplate, and they’re not allowed to use the computer at the hospice.
It doesn’t seem large in person. Not quite Escape-sized, but not quite Edge-sized either. It’s also not as tall as you’d expect for a CUV.
If the electric F-150 isn’t called a Lightning we riot.
Might be the base model has a “cooler-spec” frunk and the higher trims have nicely carpeted/leatherette covered panels.
Ford would literally not be allowed to show this official image if it didn’t fit.
I’ve seen these in person, beltline and roofline did not feel very high. Just an awkward picture.
