110% not legal according to current government regulations in regards to tire tread coverage. It needs overfenders to be legal.

Plate in middle of phone = no wireless charging. Plate stuck to the bottom, exposing the middle ~2" = can charge wirelessly. That’s just with a Samsung S8 though. I would think the iPhone is similar but cannot say with certainty.

Oil and Gas industry dudes in Oklahoma and Texas make huge money and have very low property costs (compared to similarly equipped mansions).

Remember when Ford came out with the Lincoln Blackwood and Mark LT, and they failed and everyone said a “luxury truck” was a stupid idea? Welp.

Granted I was doing this on a Galaxy S8, where the charging device is built into the middle of the phone. iPhone might be different? I wonder if that is why this is a glass back phone now, if the old metal back style would’ve impaired the charging.

The subtext you are missing is that you are one person, one data point. Unless you know every Focus ST owner your own personal experience is statistically irrelevant. Whatever. I’m out of FiST troll food.

Which state doesn’t at this point? Alaska?

The biggest drawback to wireless charging for me is that using one of those nice magnetic phone holders interferes since you need to stick the metal plate to the back of the phone. I was able to get around that a little by putting the plate really low on my phone, but then my phone would rotate upside-down when taking

Oh cool. It’s a pleasure to meet someone that knows every single ST owner in the country.

Are Millennials Killing AM Radio?

Nice strawman you made there. You seem incredibly defensive over this car. I really don’t care if you enjoy your FiST or not. Conversely I do not enjoy that car, but you should also not care whether or not I do.

Ah yes, another car frequently knocked for terrible ride quality.

At the very least they should make them programmable buttons that’ll activate whatever feature you DO have.

Maybe if the Jones Act didn’t exist Hawaii would invest in docks that could handle the larger ships. This does sound like the Chicken Tax of the sea. Surely our politicians will look into it.

I really don’t think the interior is bad outside of a few areas. The only spot that truly bothers me is the lack of padding under my left elbow on the door card. Perfectly happy with the rest of it.

If this were available to me in America I might honestly buy one. I have an older truck for doing truck things, this would be great for just commuting.

I drove a Fiesta ST for a few hours (and frequently ride in a coworker’s FiST) and bought a Focus ST. In real life my Focus is always faster, and the interior of the Fiesta just feels gross. Hate the design of the steering wheel too. Ride quality is night and day as well, FiST is just punishing.

Maybe if you like having a worse interior and being slower.

I had one of those. It is now so many shards in the wind.

Loss-err and D’kwinder. Come at me bro.
