Like the author, I’m also an expat - I moved to New Zealand when Bush got a second term. It was unbearable for me at the time. My first step was thinking of the countries I’d initially be willing to move to. I was in my 30s at the time and only spoke English. I wanted to move sooner than later, so dismissed any…
I moved overseas 14 years ago and have maintained my US credit card. I initially used my brother’s address, but then just called them and changed my address to my overseas one. They know I live over here, but I travel back often enough that the card remains active. I also changed my address on my US bank account…
Except that Southwest is one of the least expensive airlines, and 2 bags are included in the price. I am old enough to remember when all flights included baggage - they split it to make more money, not to save customers money.
What are you even talking about? The Avatar production was going until the day before we locked down under Alert Level 4 in March. Maybe some research would help before you write an “article”?
The editorial people really should coordinate with those trying to make the money from ads. It is such a bad look when this site tells the truth about the evils of WalMart and those running it amd then advertises for them. FFS.

I saw this show live, and it was ok. I think I would have been fine if Nanette had been her final show.
This episode was a solid A for me, as Jodie is my fav person in this show. I’d be happy if she finally killed Eve and the show carried on. This entire episode could be an Emmy reel - so many emotions, and very well done.
Statistics. Medical studies that went on for decades following thousands of extremely overweight people. There is no such thing as being healthy and extremely overweight.
She was at a normal weight 10 years ago...
Ugh - yes - totally agree. I feel glorifying obesity is as dangerous as glorifying anorexia. There’s a lot of middle ground, where body positivity should live. LIzzo posted a picture of herself for the 10 year challenge, and she was a normal weight just 10 years ago. Sure, she can perform on stage for hours. That…
How do you ensure to choose tomatoes from Italy that were not picked with slave labor?
I also have a sapphire and love looking at it every day - 15 years later. :)
No tip! They are already being paid for the service they are providing. What is the American’s obsession with tipping?!
No thanks, I left the US for NZ ages ago, and I really like Jacinda.
Yeah! And I walk by it almost every day on my commute to work. No guards, just a locked gate. (To be fair, she is most often in Auckland in her own house.)
Wellington, New Zealand: every place here is a good place to eat. Bars are open until “late” (i.e. until people decide to leave), so weekend brunches typically go all day. We’re known for our coffee - you’ll only find one Starbucks in the entire city, as the others have closed up - and most breakfast places serve…
I live in Wellington, NZ and I think the same can be said for here. It is difficult to eat badly here, or even get a bad cup of coffee (unless you go to the *one* Starbucks). I’ve visited Melbourne and it is lovely - the laneways are great!
Oh, there’s a bottom. His name is Lindsey Graham.
Correct, he did nothing wrong. He asked for someone corrupt to be removed so that an investigation COULD HAPPEN. Are you really that dense? His actions were out in the open and sanctioned because of the corruption. His actions meant that an investigation of the company was MORE probable.
