The one problem I have is that you want the public to be involved in their community. Community policing is how you avoid racist cops and bad blood. This crap, though, exacerbates it.

The root issue here is random ass white people thinking that they have the authority to police black people.

And even if it’s not legal, mind your own business unless it’s an actual emergency.

People need to understand that you don’t call the cops for stupid reasons, but you especially don’t call the cops on black people for stupid reasons - far too many cops are willing to execute first and justify later.

She wanted to witness her whiteness at work, which meant waiting on the cops in order to drop that damsel in distress routine.

I will say, though, it’s been really nice that some of the older white people who have lived in the neighborhood for decades have stood up and said “These people were here before you and if you don’t like it you can move back to the suburbs.”

Nextdoor can be horrible depending on where you live. it’s honestly become a “safe space” of sorts for wypipo to shed their white tears all because they get shook around brown and black folk.

Imagine giving enough of a shit about what other people are doing to call the police on them for grilling food in a park, then sit there for two fucking hours waiting for the police to show up. Fucking why? She just had to ensure “justice” was served and the police confiscated their grill or something? Jesus fucking

OMG

Very.

How hard is it for white people to mind their own business?

It doesn’t matter what was playing. He verbally abused a young woman who had already fixed the problem he complained about, apologized and offered him a free muffin. Then, this piece of shit who probably makes half a million dollars a year had to demand the jobs of the minimum wage workers unfortunate enough to cross

And this isn’t even the first time! Terrorizing fellow students and wasting the time of the police (this ranks so very low on my list of priorities, but if there were ever to be consequences for her bleached ass, this would be the deciding factor I’m sure) demonstrating clearly that she is a disrupting factor on

And yet Becky McWhitetears will face no consequences from the university or police.

Apparently I wasn’t black because I listened to Guns N Roses.

I’m white and make this face all the time. I CAN’T STOP. WHY DO WE DO IT?

I don’t understand the police officer’s train of thought here - why would he assume for a second that the guy getting change at the cash desk would be a shoplifter? He’s obviously made a purchase otherwise why would he be getting change? Then why does he think this is a situation that requires a gun? What about this
