@comrade_leviathan: Eames wan't the architect he was the dreamer. Ariadne was the Architect in all the dreams. There was a distinction early on that the dreamer is not the architect.

Am I the only one who pictured him burning alive in that tiny little bedroom with no means of escape once the tiny fireplace explodes? I can't imagine living there full time is safe in any way.

Lots of companies do this now. There are companies like Cognovision that specialize in it. Samsung even has a part that will do this called the PROM. It's the wave of the future. The creepy, creepy wave.

@MazdaMania: It's physical, but not conductive. We're not talking about physically blocking the signal. We're talking about shot circuiting the signal, basically. There is no condictive bridge between the two antenna parts when you use a bumper.

One of the largest problems at Blockbuster is that they are not capitalizing on the one advantage they have over kiosks. They could be customer friendly, but they choose not to be. I worked there last year when our monthly budgets would be on average 30% down. Yet the training managers would insist that we argue with

I'm a newbie to this series, so I'm very disappointed it's as bad as it seems. I stayed up until midnight finishing up season 1 so I wouldn't run into spoilers and everything...

@Piledriver: I don't know about anyone else, but I am experiencing the antenna issue. However, I still love the phone. I think most articles make it out to seem like those of us with problems are pouring the haterade, but I don't think that's the case.

This seems to be the same chain of events that HD went through on it's inception. When it first hit it was showy, without much useable content. There are only so many times one can watch the same sunset, even in HD.

@beatledud: I think the criticism stems from the fact that Apple made claims that the phone was stronger and more durable than the last.

@mekki: I am watching it and it's passable summer TV. I just love the violent Cameron from Ferris Bueller...

@Dr. What?: I'm one of the biggest Shyamalan apologists, but even I admit the Happening was rubbish. Bad writing, and even worse acting plagued that movie from beginning to end.

@Zinger314: I just got off the phone with Fed Ex and they said mine was shipping tomorrow. I just told them it was coming from AT&T.

I don't understand why they don't just get someone to fly around the Earth to get it spinning again. It worked in Superman I when he spun the Earth backwards to reverse time.

It might be simple coincidence but as soon as I started reloading repeatedly to get my order in, I started to receive spam text messages. I've never gotten them before and it happens today of all days and only after multiple attempts to pre order from both Apple.com and AT&T. Any one else?

If you keep reloading the AT&T site you will eventually get through. I got mine that way in about an hour or so. It took 4 hours to get nothing out of the Apple site. apparently sittnig and waiting for the damn thing to load constitutes no activity...
