You missed producer. She also pioneered the use of hands-free wireless microphones, when she took a small wireless mic and made a harness from coat hanger wire.

I came to the comments to say exactly that. Great minds think alike...

So no historical-based movies for you then?

Hopefully soon, and around the same time Marvel and DC superhero burnout begins.

So you have never enjoyed watching movies about historical figures that you already knew about?

It’s ironic that all the way through watching Rogue One when it first came out, I kept thinking that Pedro Pascal would have been so much better than Diego Luna in the role of Cassian Andor. Luna comes over as about as tough as a wet biscuit.

It’s ironic that in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981 - 41 years ago), much was made about Indy getting too old for the life of an archeologist-adventurer.

In this epic trailer featuring Davis as a now reculsive [sic] sorcerer-hermit (sounds a little familiar)

Did a glitch mean this article from 4/1/2022 didn’t show up until today?

Am I allowed to say “Fuck Rafael Ted Cruz” on here?

I can’t wait to see images of the Sun’s polar ice caps!

Maybe there are cases where this would have helped, but in the Uvalde case, the gunman was already being pursued by police when he entered the school. Detecting an intruder and alerting the police would not have helped.

Thin CVD diamond coatings (too expensive for domestic solar panels) would be an effective solution for the scratching.

All that makes sense, but while a cleaning system adds weight, if it allows smaller lighter solar panels (because they don’t need to be de-rated for dust cover as much), the weight saving might be offset (depending on what the cleaning solution is).

Maybe you’re joking (hard to tell on the internet), or maybe you’ve never heard of stitched panorama images?

I don’t understand why Mars landers don’t have a system to remove dust from the solar panels. I know these things aren’t trivial with possibly very fine, sticky Martian dust, but I would have thought it would be a priority.

Extraordinary claims required extraordinary evidence.

Earlier that season...

You’ve got to love how Gizmodo’s millennial/Gen Z writers always assume their audience is the same age as them, despite it being the internet!

I watched the first one in 3D. Sadly most of the characters were 2D. Some were 1D.
