I don’t believe I did. Making headlines almost never makes scientists rich, despite what the climate change deniers and their ilk like to think (“Oh, there’s only saying it for the money” - like being an academic researcher is a path to riches).

Riding scientific reports all the way to the bank? That has to be about the worst money-making idea ever conceived.
Or you could just put a GoPro HERO5 Black or HERO6 Black in to “Linear” field of view.
The $1000 tin can probably doesn’t shatter from a small drop.
Just use an electric kettle to boil the water. Just don’t use a microwave.
No. It’s dissolved from the air, especially when freshly drawn water is used (as it should be). No electrolysis is involved.
I was my first (in the flesh) iPhone X on Thursday. My instantaneous reaction was to think that it was a nice, but slightly odd looking Android phone.
It was only a moment later that I realized that it was an iPhone X.
Bidet toilets are awesome. After using then when visiting Japan and Korea for work, I became a convert.
As a Brit, but not one of your ex-girlfriends, I can tell you she’s right, AND that the reason is that the microwave heats unevenly. Leaving some pockets below the required (close to 100°C), and other pockets superheated, driving dissolved oxygen out of solution.
Water for tea needs to be at the right temperature and…
Apart from Lipton tea being garbage. As a Brit living in the US, I would rather drink water, or nothing, than have to suffer the disappointment of drinking Lipton.
I just had a new employee join my team who joined Juicero four days before they closed shop. The awesome thing for him is, they gave him a sign-on bonus, and he got to keep it!
There’s something not quite right about this story. There’s no tipping in Japan. Tips will usually be refused.
Hmm, injecting plasmids. What could possible go wrong?
I think Tolkien himself must be turning in his grave, if not outright walking from his grave (as a “Gravewalker”) over this.
Wow! Your dad is Thomas Shippey. He’s pretty famous in the world of Tolkien studies.
Beautiful animation. It’s interesting that the fox (and cricket) were drawn in a primitive style, while everything else was in a naturalistic style. I wonder what that means?
Because it was mortal, like all of us?
It’s obvious that the fox was a Replicant. Those memories of the whale weren’t his/hers. They were Tyrell’s niece’s.
You weren’t ”promised” anything. If you think the marketing claims of for-profit companies constitute promises, then maybe you should reevaluate who you consider to be worthy of your trust.
I don’t understand how people can dismiss a movie as being “too long”. Saying that the pacing is slow, or there are scenes that seemed superfluous, would be valid criticism. But what is intrinsically wrong with a lengthy film?
