Really? You don't think that Kinect is cool and pretty amazing?

When's the last time you saw a BSOD? Are you still using Windows 98?

I don't think Microsoft can solve that one. That's down to the American cable companies insistence on bundling and why everyone should get behind a la carte cable TV.

I love how these kind of articles are simply opportunities for a jingoistic outburst.

I can't believe they didn't do this by having users "like" their favored proposal.

They can just keep reusing the shot with the dragon on her shoulder while she's naked. I'd be fine with that!

This is basically the inverse of super-resolution, in which an image sensor is vibrated (or naturally occurring motion exploited) in order to increase the spatial sampling frequency of the scene. The separate frames are the computationally combined to form a higher resolution image than a conventional camera could

I should be excited by this, but dragons without Daenerys Targaryen just don't do it for me anymore!

"Female breasts"? As opposed to?

My hands will work far more effectively than this. You'll get your money back if I can't guess your size correctly within five minutes.

It's obvious. Shorter haircuts mean less weight pushing down on the top of the head ;-)

What is it about Floridians? When they're not eating each other's faces, they're doing stupid shit like this.

I didn't, no! I would like to know if someone says, "You sank my battleship!" though?

There's a difference between what the Navy WANTS, and what America NEEDS.

And why do we need this? Why are my tax dollars going to this?

1) This wasn't a scientific study. It was a survey of consumer opinions.

It doesn't take a study to realize that Americans think of red meat as being masculine. That's obvious to anyone who comes here from another country where that association is not so strongly held.

Dragons like many other mythological beasts were interpretations of fossils found in ancient times. It's probably difficult to be sure if dragons were based on croc, or dinosaur fossils.

Maybe this has been said in the hundreds of posts already (I can't read them all), but US companies renounce their citizenship all the time and set up on the Cayman Islands to avoid paying taxes.

I kind of hate to say this, but I had an idea for a product like this (with a Harry Potter official tie in) just after the first Harry Potter movie came out. I'm an electronics engineer, so it wasn't just a case of imaging something without knowing how it could be made.
