I thought everyone learned why we sweat in basic biology at school!
I've lived and worked in California for 13 years and I'm constantly appalled by the poor high school education levels and the things that kids don't learn.
Culture, history, education, vacations, and interest in things that affect quality of life other than just money.
@MickScienceLoven, yes America has a lot of people with badly pock-marked skin from serious acne. The percentage of people is probably comparable to the percentage of Brits with bad teeth.
