Assuming that we don’t all die in a nuclear holocaust, our grandchildren will have plenty of scandals to read about in the AP US History textbooks of the future.

Get used to it. It’s the new SOP. These next 2 years minimum are going to be hell.
If you secretly de-fang a body specifically designed to prevent and punish corruption you may engage in, you are definitely planning on engaging in corruption.
Apparently the Republicans were very unhappy that a number of their members were investigated for things that looked a lot like corruption, even though the investigations never led to formal charges.
Not just quietly, secretly. Unannounced, behind closed doors, with no roll call or record of votes, on a national holiday, under the wire so there was no time to fight against it. A secret vote to give them explicit control over investigations into their own misdeeds. A decision that keeps them from being accused of…
The first rule of ethics is not “ignore them.”
“Look at me now! I got a hot body! Jealous?”
this take has me feeling emotions, deeper than i’ve ever dreamed.
was deliberately “sabotaged” to increase ratings.
doesn’t this look a teensy bit more appealing than the Gilmore Girls reboot?
Maybe that was her intention, but calling it black people food put the racist cherry on the top of that shit sundae.
SOYLENT BLACK IS TOURISTS!
Seems like an open and shut case to me. It’s not fair to only serve tourists to black people.
Mayday was the SHIT. I remember seeing that film on TV as a kid and when she walks into her room and Bond is waiting for her in bed? And she just doffs her smock and slides right on in there??? It was the first time I had seen female sexual agency in all its glory.
Goldeneye was pretty good. It had evil Russians.
Weirdly, as beautiful as Bond is in that scene, the fact that his hair is mussed is what brings me the most joy. No constant blow-dried perfection, here.
I love Eva Green’s performance in Casino Royale, and pretty much everything about that movie- seriously it is just a damn well made piece of cinema- but, she is not a badass spy. She’s a government beaurocrat being blackmailed into treason by a honeypot.
Also my favorite Bond movie. One thing I loved about it is all the character development: James Bond isn’t just some superhero, he’s more human than he is in any other Bond movie I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen most of them). He’s a bitter and determined man who evolves (somewhat) throughout the movie! You could argue…
She’s a reluctant spy. Her position is made more complex by the fact that she’s betraying her country for a captured boyfriend - who’s actually a bad guy spy himself. So I guess it’s a bummer that she’s being taken advantage of like that, but then she goes and let’s herself die after giving the whole plot up to Bond.
