Your Dad is awesome for this. That is all I got.

@shellybean: She said she thought he was just going to cuss her out or embarrass her, not hit her.

@notyouraverageschlieffenplan: No kidding. I am afraid that they will give all women politicians a bad name. Given only 2 choices, I'd rather have better male candidates than sub-par females.

Back up, back up, BACK UP.

@pantsless: That reminds me: one of the first Home Depots was located near Midtown in Atlanta, home to a large gay community, and it was affectionately called the "Homo-Depot" because of its demographic.

@Anthropomorphic: When I suggested my daughter do it in Mexico last December, the priest opened his eyes REAL wide, but said yes. Virtually unheard of in my parents' diocesis.

@FrabjousDay: I am a cradle Catholic too, and I am so down with this! I hope it happens, eventually.

@History Major: Exactly. Raven and Hilary Duff grow-up spurts were NOT this messy . Disney Girls can do it.

@rixatrix: But you see, that is what I am struggling with at the moment ("people in this life tend to get what's coming to them"). I just don't see it. How many kids are being abused by their parents? How many executives are getting paid millions for having no scruples? Look at Cheney and Bush. Sure, extreme examples,

@lauraholtsteele: @Marla Singer: I should have explained myself better. I didn't mean "karma" in the strict Buddhist sense, I mean that you do good deeds and you get satisfaction and rewards for them.

@RousseMacabre: I know! Not everything is about you, sweetie Linds.

Serious question: do y'all believe in karma?

@Spicy Armadillo: I make my 11 year old spell everything when he sends me a message. "You don't use 'u' instead of 'you' when writing your mother, young man".

@chibirhm: Sorry, the 1% wins this time.

@rhialitybites: Because if the spill was on land it would have been easier to contain. Now you get it?

@echoparkgal: Whenever she visits she manages to leave with tokens from my pantry - she does this with everyone! I don't think she pays for a thing. All I can say is that the universe truly supports her and she gets what she wants and needs whenever she wants and needs it. Astonishing. I guess I envy her confidence.

You know, this description fits some people I know and I'm related to. And the only reason why they act and can afford to act this way, is that others pick up the pieces and clean up their messes: the responsible ones. That is why we have boring lives and free-spirited people don't.

Oh Anna!, Sad to see you go, but good for you, take care.

@firefly82: Not Indian or Hindu :( White North Carolinian.
