I feel you. Five years ago I was all about Star Wars but the resulting few years have been tough for a lot of the older fans. I loved Tales of the Jedi from where the foundations of KotOR began and you really hit it on the head, there, because the Old Republic was similar enough to be instantly "Star Wars" but

Well, there's this news of the single player (right?) open-world Star Wars game on the way. Now that has a lot of promise if they can pull it off well.

I think that Moffat's retcons and deus ex mechanics have been both less artfully crafted and far more logically inconsistent compared to many previous retcons.

Honestly, I think TOR is better than most themepark MMOs out there. I just also happen to think that the MMO part killed a lot of the charm and immersion of the first two KotOR games.

It reminds me a lot, in spirit, of DMZ and the sort of "alternate-but-essentially-our-Earth" that it created so well.

Compared to the story depth and some of the really well executed twists and turns in KotOR1+2 I found TOR to be really lifeless. The MMO quality just seems to invade every little bit of the game and the stories often feel really padded with insignificant detours that can't be skipped. To be honest, TOR was one of my

I feel you. Since I cancelled my Live account my 360 isn't even a Netflix machine anymore. I'm just planning on building mid-end Steam Boxes for streaming to the TVs in the living room & den. Maybe Persona will make us actually buy one, Sony does look mighty nice this time around.

Good luck in filling out your collection! I just snagged Skyrim on PC now that I never touch my consoles anymore.

Be aware that specific DLC often doesn't get highlighted, so keep an eye out for Borderlands 2 in a daily or flash sale and check the DLC then—the same big discount usually is extended to DLC and add-ons.

In actuality there were hundreds of Hindi Arhats who competed with Siddhartha for attention.

Ehrm, The Dark is Rising Sequence are still my favorite YA books ever. That movie was a sham, but the books themselves are pure anglophile gold.

And then there's there fact that, for most Buddhists, a potential realization that "The Buddha never actually existed" wouldn't raise too many eyebrows outside of actual church/temple hierarchies.

I haven't finished them still (it's been fifteen years since I started... oh my) but pretty much any and all of the many insanely detailed WoT theories would have been cooler than what ended up happening.

I've always been told to be careful about grabbing them by their necks, as there's a thin line between "it's okay I'll calm down" and "this is painful, I'm gonna go limp". I'm not sure if there's myth there or not, but I would never, ever put something as crazy as a binder clip there because I've been led to believe

Wow, objectification ho!

I love TCGs, but I just can't justify the insane price to actually play at a decent level. I played semi-pro for awhile in WoW TCG and while I wouldn't ever trade that awesome experience I just can't look at the hobby the same way anymore. I mean, dropping hundreds of dollars three times a year forever just gets old.

Not the only one.

I HATE YOU BURT! TEAM CAT 4EVA!

Oh my god.
