To expand: The man shot a kid, in cold blood, and walked away. The man shot and killed a kid after pursuing him against the instructions of trained, professional responders. The man killed a kid, and we're complacent. Manslaughter is reasonable. Acquittal is amazingly insane. For Zimmerman there are ZERO consequences.

I think I'm kinda fine with that definition. Because bedding one-hundred dudes is pretty insane (right? or am I just a prudish New Englander?). Maybe we can make trophies and host an annual "Slut!" award show where we can celebrate accomplishments (because, seriously, if you bed 100 dudes that's skillz). Lifetime

I really hope that this goes Federal and they press criminal charges. Pretty much the only situation where I'm glad we have Hate Crime (thoughtcrime) laws.

How, considering our national discourse on this whole tragedy, can this be considered "an honor"? It's the photo to accompany a very well researched and written article (that, for comparison, would never be published in the NYT or any other major newspaper) that specifically addresses the transformation from a

Well, the infamous boat was located just under three miles from my house, and I'm well over the age of sixteen. It has an effect when it all went down in my proverbial backyard. *shrug*

I will happily admit, beyond a shade of doubt, that I find him physically attractive. There's no distress or dissidence between also knowing that he willingly and with malice killed and injured many adults and fucking children.

God forbid that Rolling Stone engages in insightful journalism covering potentially uncomfortable topics. I recall when I was much, much younger I came across two fascinating cover articles in Rolling Stone (it was one of the magazines that was always around somewhere). The first was a really in-depth and absolutely

If she wasn't quitting showbiz, I'd suggest that's a fantastic concept for a reality show.

That's why they hire people to deal with that shit for them. I can't imagine that most A-list celebrities spend too much time browsing the 'web at their own computers.

I know! We should start a White House petition!

After all she has done, I suspect that "quitting acting" isn't going to mean she starves.

I lost any desire for a public persona around when the internet became a "big deal" in the last five years.

I'd suggest looking at any of the big "tube" sites (one with an x and a hamster works well for me). Start with the "Amateur" section and then work backwards to find couples/individuals who post their own work. It works well enough, because once you have a few bookmarked you can jump right to the individual's

Nah, they'd never adopt it. Maybe we could convince them to accept that Elam is more than just a pork chop? Mmmhm, sounds tasty.

And it was a good joke!

Don't mistake the "illegality" for a deficit. That's a crummy argument.

Uh, there's a pretty long history of these laws being fairly transparently anti-LBGT. I'm sure this dude isn't exactly all feminist, either, but the target is overwhelming so they can bring junk charges against homosexuals (mainly men) and scare the rest into silence.

Me too, I don't think anyone is really that happy about it. But the point is that there's no choice when you're in the torrent business. Adblock is a godsend.

Well, pretending everything is peachy and just a'ok is totally the mature, reasonable reaction from a culture. Heads and sand and the like.

Just as a clarification, sites like piratebay don't have much choice in advertising. Not saying that I support or enjoy their ads, but due to the nature of their business, porny/scammy ads are really the only sorts of advertisements that can be run on such a site.
