That has already been tried. Angle grinder, bolt cutters. It didn't matter if the person was even white or black. Nobody said sh*t, even the cops in NYC.

Apparently you don't know much about digital signals. They skew, jitter, and still have correction algorithms built into them because why? Digital isn't perfect, it doesn't matter if you're using Fiber or Copper, or Silver, or Gold cabling. Inductance, loss at the connector point, poor winding/dielectrics, and

I'll start by saying this. I don't buy Monster's HDMI cables. I never have, and I never will.

I think I'll just stick with my firewire skewers...

That's not a girl, that's the optional seat cover.

Uh, they have similar products for people who ride motorcycles. That way they can gear up for safety AND not get heat stroke.

I actually have a couple of bore snakes. One I use for cleaning, and one I take with me when I go to use my gun. When I'm done firing, I unload it, check it, then run the bore snake through it a couple of times (dry) to get the crud out of the barrel before putting it away.

+1 for the bore snake. It's what I use for cleaning my 12 gauge, and for the exact reason you stated. The chokes.

But what if you are using anti-bacterial soap??

Eh, it can be a little loud... but pretty much any higher-end GPU has a louder fan unless you get one of the multi-fan models running several 80 mm fans side-by-side.

Maybe you should get an air filter. On a whim to see what you were so upset about, I tore my 4870 apart. Then put it back together. It's a lot of screws, but not difficult... What I found is that after being turned on 24/7 for 4 years, it had VERY LITTLE dust in it. Just a little built up around the crevices, but

You mean like my Macbook Pro with discrete video card that can boot into windows for playing PC based games if I desire to?

Not everyone follows the reference design. XFX deviated a few years ago on their early 6950's and people were blowing up the power sections of their boards overclocking/flashing to 6970 bios.

ATI used to make and sell their own cards. The catch is that the bottom fell out in the profitability of GPUs years ago, and so they started just selling the chips and licensing out a reference design for card builders to use. Many times the producing companies do not deviate much, if at all from the reference

Except that they re-did the entire software interface between 2008 and 2010...

Yeah, try logging into a major city in WOW at 1920 x 1200 resolution. You'll be lucky if you maintain more than 10 fps there with that card.

Uh, not every AMD GPU has that cooling structure. There are models with 2 and 3 fans on them instead that are much more open for cleaning. Then again I've got a 4870 with that same shroud setup that is 5 years old, still runs great, and I've cleaned it maybe twice and never by taking it apart.

$200 to clean a rug...

Eh, I have two dogs, so I walk one on either side. The male has to stay on the left, as he has a severe cataract in his left eye that prevents him from seeing where I am at. The female I walk on the right.

Well, there's a few things at play here that I'm sure aren't being measured.
