I live alone too, my cat has heard so much of my whining. I did have a friend come by so she could get groceries for me. PLUS, there was a gas leak in my building and no one has any heat right now. I have created a bed fort and have one space heater aimed in.

I should have clarified, this was an xmas bonus. We do have a “scheduled” bonus determined by our revenue goals and what we achieve. The email apologizing basically said they were bracing for the coming year.
