I’m always skeptical of early updates but 24 hours-ish seems likely it’s going to be the build they were planning to release all along and not a pre-release build so seems safe.

Not sure I see a need to make this a bigger deal than it has already become. They put out a bad joke, got called out, then made what seems like a honest and open apology that appears sincere.

I was expecting this to be a way to sideload the apps like in android in windows 11 (since likely the actual software for running them is already in windows 11) but instead it’s just “use an emulator” like you couldn’t already do that in windows 10.

This “solution” has nothing to do with Windows 11.  Any version of Windows can do this.
