GDQ had some really fun runs of DOS Mega Man, in CGA (4 colors, two of which are cyan and magenta) after reaching an incentive, just to make sure it looked even worse.

I don’t think this title is even slightly “hyperboly,” because that’s not a word.

I seem to recall console port games with no way to quit... Alt-f4 was the shortcut.. or was it taskbar end program? ...

People often forget the awful, terrible PC port of Resident Evil 4, so bad that they had to release it on PC all over again under a different SKU years later.

Mouse without borders.

On the contrary, it can make for excellent comedy writing. See for example Charlie Stross’ Laundry Files books.

In combination with Twitter, absofuckinglutely.

“Instead of behaving like decent people, the Marshall Project reporter Keri Blakinger...”

This notion that you can take highly political situations and just opt out of making a political statement means you’re not being political is eyerolling. It doesn’t have to be a grand political statement. No one is arguing they should be putting out some sort of philosophical treatise or anything. But when you make a

Seriously. Can’t a company make a game about overthrowing a fascist government in Not Cuba without people asking if there are any statements about the real world. Not Cuba isn’t even a real place. DUH!

I mean, that’s one shitty way to put it. I think a more accurate headline would be, “CBS gets rid of more showrunners over alleged abusive behavior.” Right? Cause people who speak up are not at fucking fault. The complaints aren’t what led to this, these turds’ behavior is.

This is rad to see released, even if it won’t be terribly useful to run on emulators for awhile. This made sense as a continuous integration target for the multiplatform Unreal engine, even knowing they weren’t going to release it. Effectively, this is Good software development in practice.

Criticizing the police is not the same as excusing anybody else’s behavior. One can accept that attempting to steal a car is bad while also saying the police did something wrong in their reaction to them.

Says the one excusing bad behavior, unprofessionalism and reckless endangerment of innocent bystanders.
