hmm, I'll sometimes argue a bit with my partner on how much to tip. I've worked restaurant industry and I'm also Hungarian-American, meaning I know the American custom of tipping 20% (at least), whilst he's never worked in the restaurant industry and adheres to the standard Hungarian (at least) 10%...now, mind you

yes, flinging poultry is an overreaction no matter what the situation.

you're not alone in that :) only after reading your comment did i realize they were talking about the tv station

for some reason, i laughed out loud at that

you're right, but June didn't seem to be a person with low self-esteem, she always seemed fairly confident, but of course looks can be deceiving

She didn't? :O oh, no! :) I, too, am disappoint, liked this track, loved the movie

yeah, you're right, I was all like "see, they are just a bunch of (insert any classist, derisive word)" but when you think about it's not like this sort of shit doesn't happen in wealthy, educated circles. Rich, educated people can just as easily be crappy parents.

uh, such a shame, they seem to be such a nice, down to earth family

yes! it's so easy to say "you can always tell" when someone is capable of thoroughly shitty things, when in fact you can't. This attitude helps exactly no one, if someone seems a little off, then we lable them a creep, if someone is charming the we're surprised and in disbelief. I have a very personal anecdote about

poor cat :( that is some animal cruelty right there

yes, i've always taken vegetarianism, certain dietary restrictions for ethical reason to be for the purpose of not causing senseless, undue suffering rather than animals being equal to humans. but that's just me

you do have a point, but one thing that i take issue with is that white people/men subjugating and discriminating women and people of other races, religions, sexuality etc happen within one species (human) and while i'm a vegetarian and support animal rights i wouldn't put women, lgbt people, people of color,

so, there you just answered my question, because some people claim their cats and dogs do great a vegan diets (I know that its somewhat more okay for dogs because they aren't obligate carnivors) and while I'm sure they have good intentions I wonder if THAT isn't animal cruelty.

So what do you think of feeding cats and dogs vegan diets? I'm not being snarky, really just asking...would it be the same as feeding a hawk a veg diet? I know some people do it and claim their pets are doing just great without meat, but I'm not convinced, wouldn't it be like feeding a rabbit or a horse steaks?

oooooo subversive needlework

I take every opportunity I can to post General Woundwort.

my partner likes U2 and that is something we must live with :) it's odd though because he has otherwise great taste in underground electronic music, ambient, dub etc and even produces his own electronic music, but there you go...

that's amazing

Now playing

yes! why pretend to like something you don't? surely it can't be a dealbreaker to anyone that I love Gnucci, for example

this is just what I was thinking, that in a better world it wouldn't be an option, it would be like: you get a little human :)
