A couple of fun facts for you:

Personally, I’m sad that there aren’t any preserved and airworthy F-86D Saber Dogs left around. There’s a handful in museums, including the related export variant K model. My dad spent most of the time immediately after the end of the Korean conflict (post treaty for you pedants) at Clark AFB wrenching on jet engines

It’s been years since I looked at any of it. If I remember correctly, the most obvious one was above the key hole on the door, coming down from the window sill.

This is likely more related to the fact that the supercrew has a real B pillar, which helps the roof and the floor to not crumple or deform away from each other. The supercab has a rearward opening half door that latches to the side beams of the roof and floor. Thise latches are inherently weaker than the solid b

The issue with the 97-04 f150 is specifically related to the design of the clamshell half size rear dk i r, how it latches to the roof edge beam and floor edge beam and how the front door latches to it. There is effectively no “B” pillar in that version of the cab. As the cab absorbs crash related forces, it is unable

As someone who would be your adversary on being that kind of shady, absolutely do I and most of my colleagues have the ability to easily dig into your company issued mobile device and also see every bit that you pass through the company wifi. It would be irresponsible for me NOT to.

While this concept is very neat looking, I predict that it will fail in the wider market in much the same way that the Mazda5 did. It’s cut down just a bit too much. For a small pickup type vehicle to make it in the market, it will need to be a crew cab first. It’ll be a bit snug, but should be as roomy as a compact

While the CFM turbofans are indeed in service with the USSF, the version that would go into service with the B-52 would be a more modern iteration of it using an updated core and different fans. So, while there would be a familial relation there, it would be sufficiently different so as to rewuire specialized

The Rolls Royce BR700 series jet engines, which are currently widely used in the Gulfstream G 5/6 series and the Boeing 717/MD-95 are close enough in size to the existing jet engines to be able to reuse the outer nacelle body and only require modest changes to the interior duct work and cowling. They have a thrust

Which means that the average payout per head will be between $500 and $1000...

A long time i’m afraid. There would need to be some sort of national cfb player’s union for them to license through. Even then, colleges in right to work states would likely not have unionized teams and be left out.

That’s actually fairly straight forward. They just license with the NFL and the NFLPA directly. Covers it all very neatly. If there was some sort of ncaa-cfb-pa for them to group license through, you’d see those games return.

I believe that I read somewhere that a few LA class boats had a stinger setup in the sail... may have been a novel though...

And the sad part is that GM is working “furiously” on an aluminum intensive half ton pickup at this very moment...

I suspect that, excluding obvious human stupidity, they may have been doing some sort of airial survey work when the pilot received a warning from the helo that indicated for him to land immediately. He just misjudged his landing clearance.

Helo landing gone tits up usually leads to detached bits of high velocity metal. Almost wetting oneself and dropping the camera is appropriate.

Lol, now that’s what Ford needs to do. Make a limited edition mustang based Mercury Cougar to commemorate NASA’s Mercury program...

OMFG! The want is strong with this one!

That’s freaking 8 years... with certain vehicles from certain makers, you can be upside down on your car loan after 6 years and well after the initial warranty has expired...

how many crew members does that triton have? How much smaller and cheaper is it to operate than the P-1? How much more ocean can that comvo cover than the p3? How much operational cost per square mile of ocean is the p8+triton combo than the equivalent capability requirement of P1s?
