Same thing happened to me, I was going to cancel my preorder to pay for my car but I lucked out and the fix isn't going to be as expensive as I thought it would be. I'm going to have very little money for the next few months but I think I can make it work.

Around five months ago I was beginning to think that it was finally on it's way out, games were running weird and it was really loud. Afraid it was going to die on me I made a hard choice and traded it in for one of the top loader ps3's. So sad that I had to let it go but it lasted a long time.
