Not that I want to go into that again..but yes it was. You could literally take the color values of the pixels on the dress and they are blue and black in that photo. As for real life, I don’t give a shit what color it was since the photo was color adjusted to hell.

After seeing Leica slap their name on that random Huawei phone..they’re just whoring their brand out at this point. The quality on these is neglibly better than comparable cameras that cost 60% less. BUT you get to say you have a Leica and lug around a 5 lb camera hand made entirely out of metal...

The only ones I kept track of were Jason Schreier (bloomberg now) and Maddy Meyers (Polygon). Kirk Hamilton is still doing his own thing. But I wasn’t able to keep track of io9 or Lifehacker after they were gutted and all the good writers left :(

My response to this whole thing is...meh? Charlie Brown hasn’t really been culturally relevant in decades, the comic wasn’t funny...ever....and now at the very least I can stream it in the background without ads to feel “in the holiday spirit”

What strikes me most strongly...is how the way they’re launching this actually matches iOS app store guidelines (separate launcher for each app with in-app purchase using the system’s app purchase system)....  “impossible to do! says google and microsoft...”

These don’t have a DLSS equivalent though...so they come nowhere near equivalent performance as a result...

So...no DLSS equivalent..making this completely uncompetitive. Sure this can run 4K twice as fast vs the previous version...but the Nvidia equivalent can also run about 2x as fast...*and* can instead run it was half the res and upscale..looking identical but giving performance 4x (or more) higher...
