Nah, like a year ago. But really, we lived (WAY) upstate then. I’m not entirely surprised.

We tried SO FUCKING HARD to get an ice cream machine at our wedding, and when that failed we were looking for a truck, and then gave up. We got married in a boring-ass city though.

I inexplicably love wedding favors, but I kinda love all favors, including ones I give myself (insert sexual favor joke here). I mean, I like to do that type of thing for non-wedding parties, but I’m a dork.

Non-Detroiter who just sold a house, a reasonably nice one, that was definitely less than that.

Have these copper mugs suddenly come into fashion or something? Until two months ago I had never even heard someone order a Moscow Mule. Now I see freaking copper mugs EVERYWHERE. I mean, they’re pretty, but ... sort of specialized.

Incidentally, plenty of bone folders are still made from bone. Anyone in libraries, archives, conservation, etc. has probably seen one made of cattle bone.

Yeah, I guess I would like to consent, but would also be happy about it. (For example, it’s not like anyone has ever given me back the teeth I’ve had pulled. Although I am creepy and did once ask to see one).

I think it’s supporting the whole “abortionists getting rich off of killing babies” thing. Like, here is presumed proof that people are making money doing this.

Not sure if someone else mentioned this, but PP is definitely NOT profiting off the sale of fetal tissue. They are donating it, with consent, and are reimbursed an established amount of money that is intended to cover the costs of storage and transportation. It is illegal to sell body parts or tissue, but it IS legal

Donations are important, but sometimes the people on the front lines need some love too. It looks like this was done carefully and with the intent of making some specific people, who have been helpful, happy, and that I can get behind.

That was a wonderful gesture and screw the haters. You clearly thought it through and took the appropriate steps to make them feel safe. And, while donation is awesome and important, the people on the front lines deserve love too.

It feels so retro but somehow also so cool. I also like it!

Verrryyy creative murder and excellent aim! Shooting through a solid wall at the target!

I wasn’t saying that was a freak accident, clearly that should never have happened. (I was also not the shooter, if that “you” was directed at me). The freak accident was an underwire stopping a bullet.

Yeah - both people are ok with an open relationship? That’s cool, and at first I thought that was what this was. But this is really sort of explaining to someone that you plan on cheating and they can suck it if they don’t like it, which is the opposite of what an open marriage is supposed to be.

Same - I hate to agree with her, but it sort of seemed like a reasonable question to ask him, and then he became a giant raging manbaby about it.

Every time I see something like this I am amazed - and slightly concerned about the impression this gives about bullets. This is a freak accident! Not the norm! (I was recently at a gun range where they show off the holes in the wall from where someone thought the gun wasn’t loaded and shot straight through a wall and

I actually love this dress! It looks great there, and is interesting, just clearly too big. It seems casual, but that works for some weddings.

I like the idea but there is a part of me that is truly worried that Trump could get elected and then where would we be. (At war with Mexico, maybe).

Honestly, I was surprised that it was in Cleveland. Ohio isn’t that red, and Cleveland tends to be a bluer area. Honestly, it’s not a completely horrible state!!
