Why would so many people assume that women who want this don't know their own sexual desires or needs? If even one woman wants a drug to help with her arousal/ability to orgasm, then it's necessary to her. Who the hell is anyone else to tell her that it's not necessary or that she shouldn't have it because doctors

I don't watch Homeland, so I have no clue who Damian Lewis is, but what he said is so extraordinarily tacky. You don't publicly insult other people, period, but you especially don't throw out uncalled for public insults simply because you think someone else is pathetic and unappealing. Not only is it crass and rude,

Big fat multicolored lights are the best, bar none, end of story, everyone else can pack up and go home.

You're absolutely correct. Discussing the use of not one, but two variations of the word "derp" is such a lofty pursuit, a moving picture of someone's face couldn't possibly do the topic justice. I really should have treated it with the scholastic rigor it deserves.

Did you really just use both "deyyeuuurrppp" and "derpmaster"?

I think Ciara's dress is actually really beautiful, but the fact that she doesn't have anything under it completely ruins it. The clean, geometric lines are what makes that dress striking, but seeing the lines of her body underneath it destroys that effect and makes the dress 100% less interesting.

I'm a very feminine looking lesbian and I've definitely gotten a lot of flack from other queers for it. It's gotten better in recent years, but it was pretty bad when I first came out.

While these stereotypes still exist, I do think it's gotten a lot better in recent years. I'm a very feminine looking lesbian and when I came out in the early 2000s, I constantly got (sometimes from other gay people), "but you're too pretty to be a lesbian," "But you wear dresses" and "you can't be a full-blown

Callie, I'm going to have to disagree about Jennifer Lawrence. I actually really like the top of the dress, but the skirt is just all sorts of awkward looking, even if she does have amazing legs. That skirt looks like she stepped out in about 20 feet of scrim that's being lit the wrong direction.

Why, thank you!

I want to preface this by saying that I mean this discussion with respect, since I believe we are clearly on the same side when it comes to wanting positive representations of lesbians in film. That said, I have never once seen scissoring in any lesbian movie or TV show, so I don't know why people are saying it is

I've said this in other posts, but personally, I'm much more annoyed by all the queer women being upset about the scissoring than anything in the movie. Lots of women, myself included, like tribbing. It's not some mythical thing some straight guy came up with that only happens in porn. I'm really bothered by what I

What false stereotypes do you think the sex scene included?

It's not for everyone (and I do think it's judged by many, many lesbians/queer women), but certainly there a lot of people who like it.

Why would what a straight dude wants to "fap" to have anything do with what lesbians should and shouldn't be doing on screen (or in their own bedrooms)? I think the sex scenes in this movie had problems, but saying you want something straight men don't find attractive is misguided, to say the least. I know many

I personally loved this movie, as did the four other lesbians I went to see it with. I really do understand people's beef with the sex scenes, but I'm a hell of a lot more irritated by the multitude of queer women screaming "lesbians don't do that in bed," when, in fact, plenty of lesbians do that in bed. It's bad

Speak for yourself, sister. I do plenty of scissoring; pretty much every time I have sex. I'm definitely a big ole' dyke.

I constantly have terrible dreams about my girlfriend and I have no idea why. The first time we spent the night together, I dreamed that she was an evil ghost trying to kill me so she could steal my body and live again. I dream all the time that she's cheating on me, which is bizarre, because in the non-dream world I

I love her pixie cut! I would never think it would look good on her, but she looks fantastic.
