I remember Oracle of Seasons being my first Zelda game and I enjoyed what a played a lot. Too bad I never finished it, because my copy stopped being able to save a week after I got it. In fact I enjoyed it so much I made about 7 attempts as a child to finish it without saving, but someone would always mess with the my

I think HokutoAndy's post is a good discussion piece on KamiTani's art in general. So I'm re posting his post again.

Your welcome. If you don't have the time I'll probably re post this info for you in the appropriate articles. If you don't mind.

A lot better organized than my sloppy re post. Thanks for the interesting read by the way.

If anyone's interested he links to a break down of the Dragons Crown trailer and its likely influences in design. The link is in the big post, but I'll post it here, so its easier to find:

Here's an interesting post from the HokutoAndy from the previous trailer giving some insight on the designs of the Dwarf and Sorceress.

The game is on PC(Original)/PS3(Recent Port)/PSP(Port), but only the PSP version has been localized. So if you want to play it in English you need a PSP.

I don't agree that its a minor complaint the XIII failed to hide its linearity, because it breaks immersion and constantly breaks it while you play and never gives the player a reason to care about Cocoon at all. But the outrage at the game is pretty overblown even though I thought it was a mediocre game.

That doesn't really work here since there are plenty of smaller games not on the Indie sale. Also my problem is that a character from Half Minute Hero is literally on the picture on the front page lined up with actual Indie game characters. So it now represents Indie games on Steam.

I meant that Half Minute Hero is lined up with Indie game characters on the image on the front page. Not that it was on sale at the same time.

How exactly does Steam consider something Indie, because I saw Half Minute Hero on the banner as part of this sale and Half Minute Hero I'm pretty sure its not an Indie game. It was published by Marvelous AQL. The developers don't seem to be Indie, they seem to have also been involved in a few large games.

I pretty much have the same reasons for why I prefer turn based combat myself. Still enjoy a action heavy games too like Ys. One of my favorite being Trails in the Sky's combat. Being able to manipulate turn orders and positioning of both my characters and my enemies, just feels great when a plan comes together

I'm pretty sure that Pandora's Tower is more of an Action/Adventure game then JRPG, so it will likely be a pretty different experience.

Not enough people are discussing Trails in the Sky, considering its on the list. I would like to add that the excellent writing not only creates believable main characters, but also NPCs that are people. Each one has a personality, problems they need to deal with and dreams they wish to fulfill.

Well XSEED has been releasing Ys games on Steam, so be sure to support them as they bring more JRPGs on Steam.

I second this. Some of the best writing I've seen in a RPG, and likely one of the most detailed and believable settings as well.
