Don’t worry, folks. The incoming national security adviser has determined that Flynn is not a threat to national security and that the investigation should be dropped. Instead, the entire staff of the CIA is going to be flown to Benghazi to continue with the investigation.

But that’s what makes it great. It is petty, but people are only focusing on it so much because HE cares so much.

This all-girls high school alum is grateful for having had the opportunity. It’s not right for everyone but it was right for me.

The speaker system wasn’t the best! I could hear if I strained my ears, but at least the Warren speech is online now. Healey’s is definitely worth a listen if it’s up, too. But yes—such a wonderful day. The organizers did a fantastic job, and the MBTA and BPD were such a great support.

What’s even better is that this started so organically that, at first, people were doubtful that it was even going to happen. The organizers of all the marches did such a wonderful job on an incredibly tight schedule. Brava, ladies, for projecting our anguished, impulsive outcries into something real and powerful.

I think my favorite moment during the march was listening to the man behind me very matter of factly explaining to his 7- or 8-year-old son that they were marching because a lot of people discriminate against women just because they’re women and one of those people is our new president and it’s important to speak out

I’m all cried out today by...everything. All the powerful signs, powerful people, and powerful spoken word.

Nah, she donated the proceeds to people Trump want to hurt. That’s apology enough.

I feel sorry for her. She’s gorgeous, but so over-botoxed she can barely smile. She must be hella insecure, and Cheeto probably insults her regularly to keep it that way.

Nice. As an aside, I am currently sitting across from two coworkers that have nothing but bitch about Obama for the past eight years mutter to each other about how “he’s our President now and people need to get over it.”

Anybody else coming to the realization they need to start running for local offices to combat the pure idiocy of the current crop of politicians?

Since Jane who very much is an ignorant slut dismissed my comment, I’ll repost it here:

What I’m holding onto right now, is that at least it will be an exciting four years. This generation will finally be able to take part in massive marches, mass acts of civil disobedience and then eventually a massive civil war, so bright side?

Nah. The Left demands better than navel-gazing privileged white dudes being the de facto voice of the Left.

RE-ENACTMENT:

My wife and I are going, but at one point I did indeed become unsure if men were invited, based on the name, so I ... and hang with me here, because this is key ... I went and checked their website to be sure. It took almost fifteen seconds, but somehow I got through it.

Jonathan Chait is also concerned that the fact that the march is being organized and led by women is a little exclusionary. He proposes finding a man to lead it so that men will be more comfortable.

If Jonathan Chait wanted an anti-Trump march with another name, he should have started one on his own. If he’s going to let other people do all the work, he can shut up about the name.

Funny that the march is named after one of a few groups that have most to lose from this presidency, right? I can not countenance this constant concern trolling. Straight white male fragility is like the best kind of fragility. It’s YUGE.
