I think I have seen about 10 talk therapists in my life. Maybe more. Not a single one brought up timelines and end dates. Not one. Am I just the unluckiest depressed person out there? Also: not a single medication helped either for more than four weeks. Fuck this profession.

I would love to learn more about trans issues too! I know a couple trans people, but not well, so I am pretty ignorant. Please keep my limitations in mind while I try to answer some of these questions to the best of my ability.

Most of the trans women I’ve known seem to gravitate toward the company of cis women and/or gay men. I do know one who recently came out and said that one of the reasons for not doing so sooner was fear of alienating her cis female friends (ie. radfeminism.)
