You're right for the most part, but it's hard to feel sorry for all of them when you've got the likes of Bungie, id, Respawn(previously Infinity Ward) and Epic who love to thumb their nose at the PC platform when it suits them and backtrack on it when it doesn't.

E3 was after their 'accident' though. The initial previews and stuff was all PC, AFAIK.
