I would've loved to have seen Ocarina (yes again), but using the Wind Waker art-style.
Their sun might be a dwarf star, or any star cooler than our sun and therefore has less UV.
And kind of a mixed message to someone with Erythropoietic Protoporphyria!
You miss the first bit, I think it's Y U NO PICK HECARIM? And I assume Hecarim is some kind of avatar in whatever game this is blah blah.
Not just because of it's looks, actually, and 'Ghibli' entails a whole host of great things the 'look' included.
I'd say its the modern benchmark of a JRPG. It does everything right, and it does it in a shiny new way. It's also a testament to it that those who don't give a fuck about JRPGs in general, like it.
That's going to annoy the shit out of me. It should be 'Where have all the fish gone?' surely?
I have a huge Amazon wishlist chock-full of games for my PS3, most of which aren't even out yet. I won't be getting a next gen console for a long while.
Only took 2 years, eh? Fuck me, right? We should be grateful for everything about this game. I'll just go get the lube...
At the time of this review, you couldn't:
Haven't seen a 'real' FF game since IX, tbh. This one's no different.
How not to launch an MMO (twice):
If you think Squeenix are ever going to fix those issues, think again. This'll get shut down for lack of players long before that. Warhammer: Age of Reckoning was 'fun, but flawed with lots of potential'.
Squeenix seem so determined to keep the FF series in poe-faced mannequin land, you'd think for their MMO they'd go back to the timeless whimsy of the early games and FFIX. This game just shows a complete lack of imagination.
I'm instantly visualising Homer's helper monkey after he's ruined it.
You want to talk about fair? This is a game's relaunch because its initial launch was such a fuck-up and there's still stuff wrong with it. What's fair about that? How many chances should they get? As many as it takes until everyone likes the game you like, I suppose?
Shame really. I think they could've stood out from the crowd more with the FFIX-type look instead of the 'seriousbusiness' look of 8, 10, 12, 13. The creepy mannequin look hasn't got any better since Everquest.
The 50s called: They want their youth crime back.
