I couldn’t wear headphones while talking to customers, and my ex-coworker was one of those not-so-self-aware moms. Her son was precious and the whole world has to accommodate them.

Our boss looked the other way because the crying baby was her grandson. Unfortunately the brides who were there for fittings and to look at swatches didn’t appreciate it, so they would complain and rebook or just walk out. We absolutely dreaded her being in the store with him because it was sure to cost us sales.
Good luck telling a boss or clients not to expect 100% productivity because someone decided that bringing her crying baby everywhere with her is more important than everyone getting their work done.

Yeah pretty much. Better to die and be a martyr than have an abortion and live. Besides, if you die your husband can upgrade to a newer model who’ll never be able to live up to you on your pedestal, so she’ll work harder to keep him happy.
What would you recommend then? Sending them to prison might make the next set of parents think twice about letting their baby die instead of going to a hospital.

But we’re not taking a full-term 8lb baby. It doesn’t take a genius to know that if you deliver a baby that small and that premature, it’s likely to have serious medical problems.
