I bought a used 2012 Model S in 2016. Sold it this year. It had 118k miles on it (original set of brakes, btw...regen braking rocks).

No major reliability issues. The retractable sunroof motor was starting to fail, but other than that, no issues that weren’t covered by the warranty.

My wife has a used X. Some issues,

I did YouTube TV for about 6 months until they raised the price and “gave” me channels no one in my house will ever watch.

Did no live TV for 3 months, and just signed up for Hulu TV Live for the football season. May do that forever...just sign up for football season.

My kids never watch live TV

Totally agree. I had pirated copies up until Office 2005.

Too bad you didn’t see the $25k car in 3 years.

Or realize you could get a model 3 for $37k, which is only $6k more than the median price of a new car in the U.S.

Or you could buy a CPO Model 3 for less.

Or you could just continue to read Jalopnik, not do any independent research, and remain bitter.

I was a huge pc gamer back in the day. I just helped my son put together his first gaming pc rig.

But me, I don’t have time for that. There’s a sweet zone between about 15-30 years old where pc gaming makes sense. For everyone else, they don’t have time to fiddle with settings and ensure their graphics card drivers are

I don’t know.  The enlisted ranks are heavily minority.  The officer ranks are predominantly white, but the demographic that become officers aren’t really spending time watching Twitch.

But an iPhone Max costs $1100.  This is a lot more functionality for $300 more.  Or, to be precise, an extra $12/mo on a 2 year plan.

2 things.

Why would you get one if these instead if a Tesla Y or X? Especially since the Y is much cheaper. The ludicrous speed, fully optioned X is price comparable, but much bigger.

1. my model S was just as low and wide. It was much more open and spacious.

Torally agree.

Every single worker, Shotwell included, talks about Musk’s invaluable contributions. So does everyone at NASA, including the astronauts that just flew. Even the people that left or got fired begrudgingly agree that Musk is a genius and invaluable. Shotwell is a great manager. However SpaceX isn’t SpaceX without Musk.

SpaceX only exists because of Musk. There are smart engineers everywhere. Spacex achieves due to his leadership and vision.

That’s the point. If they were a sure thing, there would be no risk.

I got in at $83 / share. I’ve already sold enough to triple my initial investment (back when it was only $200/share).  I am a true believer.

The rest I’m keeping for the long term.  I mean...long term.  I like being part of the story and I want to see where it goes.

He’s the figure head and CEO of a couple of companies that are knocking it out of the park.

SpaceX

People are not investing Tesla as simply a car company.
They are investing in it as a leader in green energy that is poised to explode in the next couple of decades.

Other than cars, Tesla
1. Produces solar panels and home batteries. (did CA just mandate roof solar for all new residential construction?...Yeah, Tesla

Also why is this guy not in the greys, but i have been forever?

*rolls eyes* as I start to point out absurdity of the comment. Then I realized I live in a world where QAnon is mainstream.

Why is Cheetarah still as confusing to my 44 year old brain as she was to my preteen brain?
