If she takes out the recommended 4% every year (adjusted each year for inflation), she will only be taking home $200,000/yr before taxes. She won’t be poor, but that’s nowhere near Hollywood money.

1. Because using slave labor is not about the economics. It’s about control and fear.
I love how NASA is using SpaceX as a scapegoat. There’s no mention that the spacesuits won’t be ready or that the necessary SLS configuration won’t be ready, or that the needed launch tower won’t be ready, etc, etc, etc.
The EPA changed its rules on how to calculate range. But this site only likes to hate Tesla, so whatever.
I’m navy pilot that joined specifically because of the movie, and I can tell you the Navy was extremely happy with the ROI. The numbers in my and surrounding year groups was insane. They’ve been chasing another hit ever since.
This does not affect too many people. However passkey requirements are a pain for government workers like me that work in classified buildings. We can’t bring our phone into work, so if I can’t use a password, I cannot log into any personal sites while at work.
Came here to say the same thing.
I can speak with authority that the government contracts (not just the U.S.) are going to be immense.
The cheapest iphone 15 costs $800. I find it amazing that a website that routinely reviews $1000 video cards, and $400 mechanical keyboards balks at a $600 cost of entry for literally the internet.

The Saturn 1B was not a modified Saturn V. It was the pre-cursor to the Saturn V. (1 < 5) It was also used to launch Apollo whenever lunar injection was not needed (e.g. Apollo-Soyuz)
By definition.
I’ve had Teslas for a combined 8 years now. We average about 1 maintenance call a year...mostly for warranty stuff. But that average is skewed by the fact that our 1st 2 were first model year MS and MX that we bought used. My new MY has only been in the shop once in almost 3.5 years.
The problem with these kinds of buyouts are that you lose the wrong people.
The X33 tech demonstrator and its follow on, the Venturestar, were the true STS replacement.
Man, I had my first real Karen experience two days ago, and I’m still hopping mad.
I had just checked out of my hotel in Hawaii. The policy is that you are still allowed to use the pool and bar until midnight though and my flight wasn’t leaving for 7 hours.
So I get in the elevator and hit the button for level 3. Then…
JP-8 is still used by all USAF jets. Whereas JP-5 is used by Navy aircraft due to its higher flashpoint. It’s always a to-do when a Navy jet diverts to an USAF base and then flies back to the carrier with a full tank of JP-8.
In VA it’s about 11 cents / kWh peak, 5.5 cents offpeak
