Going pretty stereotypical here:. But most of the people in the news that have committed anti-social outbursts have been loner, nerd types. (I’m a nerd too. Just because I played sports doesn’t mean I don’t know that there are 72 TIE fighters on a star destroyer).
No, but field observation does not match the results expected from these new studies. If these studies were accurate, then the U.S. would have millions of newly severely brain damaged people every year.
Thank you for the (mostly) snarkless reply...lol. I am not disregarding the new science. I do think that SOME of the studies have an agenda, but that’s usually easy to sniff out.
However, I do take exception that the sport is inherently bad. Tens of millions of people play football every year. If CTE was a forgone…
Oh please. I had 7 concussions growing up. Of the 7 concussions, been knocked out 3 times. Played 10 years of football, 6 years of hockey, and 10 years of wrestling at the little league to collegiate level.
Also managed to be a valedictorian at my H.S. and finish in the top of my class with honors for both my B.S.…
It’s because you realize that you can get the cool tech and acceleration in a Model S for like $100k. You’ll miss out on the top speed, but where are you able to hit 217mph? Plus, you’re not fitting three car seats in the Lambo. You’re old pal...just like the rest of us.
Yeah, I’m a Tesla fanboy. I really enjoy the car and I think cars like it are the future of automobiles. I’m not the troll. You are by definition. I asked for one quote, and you produced ZERO. None. Zip. Nada.
And thank you for your well wishes. I have enjoyed almost every second of driving the Tesla. I did have one…
Do you know how internet arguments go? Dear lord, it’s not rocket science. The person making the claim has to provide the evidence. Not the person that calls out the bullsh**. So get going...use that Google tool you’re talking about.
Haha. No Tesla fan would say the supercharging network is not necessary. It may not be necessary for 90% if the people 90% of the time, but the network is the thing that makes a Tesla a viable car for everyday. No Tesla fan would disparage it.
I’ve followed Tesla from almost day one. I’ve read every article I could get my hands in from jalopnik and others. I own a model S. I own stock in the company. I have never heard anyone say that the supercharger network was not needed.
Still waiting. I’ve read every Tesla article and just about every comment. Never once did anyone say that. Like I said, still waiting. Put up or shut up.
Agree. That is why I paid the premium to get a CPO from Tesla themselves. Tesla’s CPO warranty is pretty reasonable IMHO.
Show me one quote that says the supercharger is not necessary. I’ll wait.
No no one said that. People have ALWAYS said that the battery is enough for most people most of the time. For those rare occasions that you need to travel farther, the supercharger network will support you.
Preach!
The Boot does allow you to look like a immature millennial that is 26, still works at Starbucks, and still lives with their parents.
What? If that was true, Tesla wouldn’t be spending so much on expanding the network. Troll harder.
The ones on Auto trader are significantly less because they do not come with a warranty. I bought a used model S, but there was no way I was going to buy a car with such a limited track record unless it was backed by the company.
F that. I’ve been a Eagles fan since 1980. Buddy Ryan may not have won any playoff games, but EVERY single game was a joy to watch. Buddy got into fist fights with other coaches. He ran up the score using trick plays. The defense came close to murdering people in public. Randall was exciting to watch. Those were the…
I shared the same initial concern when I first saw it too. However, all the test drive articles have stated that by not integrating the interface with the dash, Tesla was able to push the dash really far away...creating a really open and roomy interior. Makes me think that pictures of the interior are meh, but when…
