Honestly, if they put Tennant in one of those muscle suits from Bill & Ted 3 it might work.

I mean, Tennant has some serious range.

I’m not sure why Jack is bad casting though? Do you think that Jack can’t play a devastatingly sad and emotionally broken character who uses humor and false bravado as a shield?

I try not to be a “NOT ON EPIC” type, but I do find it hard to convince myself to buy things there particularly when timed exclusivity of non-Epic owned properties is involed. Bought one thing outside of the many (pretty great) free games they’ve given. Journey to the Savage Planet, which at the time was exclusive,

Saying the boardgame market is niche in 2021 is silly. Boardgames are huge business. Dedicated stores selling them are on the rise. Walmart and Target are stocking the most popular “Gamer” games in stores now.

I have to admit, I’m getting a bit tired of the snark too. Sometimes it’s just okay to like something or be excited about it without being constantly reminded that there’s no such thing as ethical consumption in a post-capitalist society.

Can most of the male writers on this site not write articles that sound like you’re all fucking sneering at your keyboards when you have to talk about something/one/etc that you’re not exactly 100% fans of?

I don’t know if the video game audience is the same size as the board game audience. As Outrider mentioned, other well-known board games based on video games were also put on Kickstarter for fundraising.

I think putting these board games on Kickstarter isn’t a bad idea, as it gives the creators insight into how much

Kickstarter is also a way to gauge interest. For games with relatively high production costs, usually intricate, large, and numerous minis (based on the box this may well be all three) it helps to know if this will be a one off (if that, many kickstarters that seem like they should be successful still don’t make their

Early mo-cap is rooooouuuuuugggghhh stuff.

Am I the only one who didn’t hate the ending? I played the games a couple years after ME3 came out (2014-15 or so), so I missed the immediate post-release uproar. It did mean that I got the slightly “extended” ending from the Citadel DLC on my first playthrough, but even so, I thought it was fine. Mostly I was just

I argue to this day that while the very final moments might not have been fantastic, the “ending” is the entire game. The whole 3rd game is a finale to the characters and relationships we love, and there were many satisfying endings within that. So what if the final shots fall a bit flat?

You mean, the kind of response Epic tried to stir up from Fortnite fans against Apple? I’m going to keep doing what I’ve been doing: not buying anything tied to the Epic store. Or Fortnite, for that matter.

If you honestly believe that this is about a “second icon,” you haven’t been paying attention. This is about consumer choice and money, plain and simple. Epic wants money, but doesn’t want to put in the effort to make a competitive product. They’ve had well over a year to offer even basic feature parity with the likes

Epic’s garbage driving people away from the platform, except when they’re ‘forced’ back for exclusives, leading to more exclusivity garbage to maintain usage, lowering public opinion of the platform further... around and around it goes. Welcome to the wonderful world of “we have more money than god, and will MAKE this

To everyone complaining that Pinnacle Station won’t be added:

I find this kind of article fascinating, just because it’s such a different perspective from mine, and the difference between my takeaway from this mission and Ethan’s is why everyone’s mad at Bungie, all the time. It’s also why it’s literally impossible for them to balance the game for different skill levels.

This. When someone says “nobody asked for,” they actually mean “I didn’t ask for.” If Luke genuinely believes that nobody asked for a co-op Fallout game, he’s being willfully ignorant.

Now Sony can explain if it’s so bad it needs removing why they certified it in the first place and falsely represented PC footage by heavily implying it was PS4 footage.

I swear people will find anything to complain about this game.
