Buyers have to want fun. And at the moment they generally don’t. They want “safe” which seems to mean a jacked-up 2-box blob you can’t see out of (for that womb-like feel) in a shade of gray.

The way you transition from saying geocities to myspace makes me figure I’m a lot older than you. 90s Geocities pages were their own kind of madness.

‘bored’ is doing a lot of work here.

Consider that $60 for a 12-15 hour game was considered normal nearly two decades ago.

I guarantee I can pick his mechanical locks, and all I’ve done to learn is watch a few hours of YouTube. People have been opening/starting cars since the first lock.  Locks, electronic or not only set the level of investment a thief has to make.

I had to jumpstart my own truck with my eGolf the other day, since I’m driving it so little.  The irony was delicious.

I totally agree. These days if I want to experience a world ravaged by disease, turmoil, unspeakable violence, and the worst of human nature, I’ll go to Costco on a Saturday. Those feelings are about the last thing I’m looking for in gaming anytime soon, especially if the story’s themes are as rote and basic as they

Because the data sets are not built through any sort of scientific attempt at applying scores. Every journalist has a completely different viewpoint of what constitutes a 10 and what constitutes a 6.

No B-wing, literally unplayable

This guy IT’s.

Assuming their QA is WFH - which logistically is one of hardest positions to WFH. How do you get hardware? Do you trust your QA with console dev kits? How do you get builds? What about bandwidth costs? Do you do it over RDP? (I’m guessing not, because that is shit) How do you test disc builds? You giving everyone a PC

Agreed that delaying is almost always in the best interest of the game... I just wish they would STOP setting launch dates until they have a high degree of certainty that it’s actually going to release around that time.

Regarding your first paragraph; 100% agree. When people say “What’s the point of buying an Xbox if all their games are on PC”, that’s the point they’re missing. It’s a lifesaver for when someone else wants the TV. I’ll admit it’s not beneficial for everyone, but it’s been an incredibly useful thing for me.

While I initially thought this would lead me to quit. It hasn’t yet. Instead, I’ve just lost any interest in ever farming for a good roll on a weapon. The best weapon I can find, I’ll use. Whatever.

What launch titles excite you on PS5? They showed a lot of stuff in their reveal, but almost none confirmed for launch and very few of the games were confirmed for launch window (notably - none of the major 1p franchises except Spiderman).

I fucking lol’d. Like, was there literally any self-awareness in posting this video? 3/5 of the mods are model updates, all of them are for female characters, and one of them gives Ryder a fucking sports bra.

Gotta chime in with the chorus here that the mods chosen for this list are a little too generic and horny to be worth a feature article. I love mods and run them for just about any game with halfway-decent support, but this particular list isn’t a great look, guys.
