Yes.
Yes.
Call me when Maradona wins multiple European Cups. Oh, wait....
He set up more chances than anyone in the tourney, but his teammates didn't follow-thru. Could be worse, I suppose - he could have been George Best and never had a chance to play in the tournament.
Not so much, to be honest. He got upset with Jose after Chelsea knocked them out of the league race, but he got over it.
And Brendan.
My thoughts on the possible keepers for 2018:
Also a separate article on the positions. For example, I don't see goalies hitting their peak until their late 20s, maybe even 30.
He's 29 now. I think he could add a lot to the team, but it might be a longshot for him to get on.
Even though he'll be 29, I'd put Sean Johnson of the Chicago Fire in that group of one-cappers who will be a threat for USMNT in 2018. Since he's a goalie, he'd be in his prime at that point.
I'd rank Shipp up among the top and he's a Chicago Fire guy.
That man had no fucks to give.
House Stark looks like the most badass kit for Real Madrid ever.
In addition, fine naked ladies.
Fair enough. Bale is the only one I can think of off the top of my head in modern times, and he might be better than Giggs, who is the only recent player I'd rate at the top. As far as best to never play all time, the only one who might compete with DiStefano other than Best would be Eric Cantona. Duncan Edwards might…
Messi is the only one. Proof is here: http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/lione…
I'd rate Paul Scholes above Giggs.
JK keeps playing Bradley out of position. It's getting frustrating.
Howard may be the USA's best goalie of all time, but Brad Guzman and Nick Rimaldo on the bench are great too. I would have trusted any of them in goal today.
10 German Bombers indeed.
Lol someone needs to e-mail this link to Dan Shaughnessy immediately.
