@polyboy: Here is a fun fact for you. I am currently living in Switzerland (the French part). When I start typing an email message, my Outlook thinks I am writing in French, so it automatically changes "Hello polyboy!" to "Hello polyboy !" (note the extra space).

@billy61: That is incorrect. To heat up 1 kg of water by 1° C would take 4,180 J, so if you do it in 1 second you'd need 4.18 kW.
